| Get on the toll road A7 from Alicante heading for
Valencia (you will need some Euro's for the tolls) Come off at Junction
61 Oliva turn, onto the N332 National road and turn left towards Gandia.
About 3 km you will go through Bellreguard and then the other side of this town you will see a roundabout and the sign for Gandia. DO NOT go into Gandia but stay on the N332 which skirts around the town. Keep in the direction of Valencia. About 5 km. along this road you will see a sign to turn off for BARX (pronounced BARG). Turn off the junction and follow the signs for Barx. You will go up a road which winds around the mountain for approx 12 km. It's a bit steep and narrow in parts. At the top it levels out onto a plateau and you enter the village of La Drova. Coming from the Valencia direction on the A7 come off at Junction 60 and then onto the N332 towards Gandia. The second main turn off is for Barx. Come off the N332 and follow the signposts for Barx as above. |
