In 2001 we made one of the biggest and most adventurous
decisions in our lives. We decided to pack up and retire (a
bit early) and move to Spain lock, stock and cat. We bought
a Villa in the mountains of La Safor near Gandia on the East
coast of Spain.
We now live in a beautiful Villa in a small
village in the mountains. Its located about 15 minutes from
the sea and is typical Spanish. We have learnt many lessons
since living here and through experience have tried to pass
our lessons on to visitors and prospective property purchasers.
We certainly do not profess to know it
all, but we have learnt a great deal. Advice is free and we
give it willingly to all our guests should they ask. We found
when we first arrived here in Spain that although everyone
we met were very friendly, sometimes information was hard
to find so we decided to open our house to potential purchasers
of property here in Spain so we can help and advise should
the occasion arise.
